Former stars of Jersey Boys from Broadway, Chicago, and Los Angeles united for a one-night only event featuring performances by Courter Simmons, Christopher Kale Jones, Shonn Wiley, Ryan Williams. Featuring slick dance moves and a dynamite band, rock’s greatest decade was represented by hit songs including “Sherry, “ Walk Like a Man,” and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You.”
The event raised $370,000 to support Laguna Playhouse’s Youth Theatre programs, actors and designers for the live theatrical productions produced by the Playhouse, as well as technical equipment required both backstage and onstage.
Artistic Director David Ellenstein welcomed the donors and their guests and provided an update on the renewed success of the Playhouse as well as gave a sneak preview of the 2024-2025 season which was announced to the public a few days later.
Cast members from the Laguna Playhouse Youth Conservatory displayed their talents by presenting a montage of Broadway songs from their upcoming (May 10-12) production of The Addams Family.
