The Skivvies are back! Broadway's Lauren Molina and Nick Cearley return to the Laguna Playhouse for two nights of the most outrageous holiday show of the season. This undie-rock, comedy pop, award-winning duo perform stripped-down, mashed-up versions of holiday favorites and more. Expect to see ukulele, electric cello and an array of zany instruments. 

Featured in People Magazine’s Hottest Bodies Issue and as Sports Illustrated’s Favorite New Band, The Skivvies’ award-nominated live shows feature celebrity special guests having wild fun, packed with big voices and crazy harmonies. But no pants.

Nick Cearley

NICK CEARLEY is the co-creator of The Skivvies (www.theskivviesnyc.com) with Lauren Molina. Broadway / 1st National Tour of All Shook Up. Off Broadway: A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Puck), Pageant (Off Broadway Original Revival Cast / Cast Album on Jay Records), Sex Tips…, Cupid & Psyche. Selected Regional: Eight regional premieres of the critically-acclaimed one person play Buyer & Cellar, The Rocky Horror Show (Bucks County Playhouse/ Directed by Hunter Foster), Little Shop of Horrors (Portland Center Stage / Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park). Along with Molina, Cearley co-conceived the revival of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown at the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park slated for an Off Broadway production in 2021. Lauren Molina

LAUREN MOLINA is a co-creator and performer with the comedy-pop, undie-rock band The Skivvies. Her Broadway credits include Regina in Rock of Ages and Johanna in the actor-musician revival of Sweeney Todd. Regionally she starred as Cunegunde in Candide at the Goodman Theatre, Huntington Theatre and Shakespeare Theatre in DC (Helen Hayes Award). She originated the role of Bella Rose in Desperate Measures Off-Broadway and received nominations for the Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Actress in a Musical and Outer Critics Circle for Best Supporting Actress. Also Off-Broadway: Marry Me A Little (Drama League Nomination / Revival Cast Album). Other favorite roles include Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors (Cleveland Playhouse), Countess in A Little Night Music (Huntington Theatre), Janet in The Rocky Horror Show (Bucks County Playhouse), and Eileen in Wonderful Town (Goodman Theatre) In 2019, she and her Skivvies partner Nick Cearley co-conceived a new actor-musician revival of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown at the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. She also performed in It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play at the Bucks County Playhouse in 2012 and debuted a 3-person version of the same show for the Laguna Playhouse virtually in 2020. www.laurenmolina.com.
