Covid-19 Policy as of February 15, 2022
After a way-too-long intermission, Laguna Playhouse is excited to be able to open our doors and welcome you all back to the theatre.
THEATER RENOVATIONS / HEALTH & SAFETY
Laguna Playhouse has been diligently working on significant renovations, improvements, and new protocols to ensure the comfort, well-being, and safety of our patrons, including:
These protocols are based on the most current information available for the live entertainment venue industry, as well as other pertinent industries. As we move forward, we will continue to monitor guidelines from the CDC, state and county, for the latest public health guidance to continually update these procedures.
COVID-19 POLICY
With the circumstances surrounding COVID-19 continuing to evolve, and after consultation with medical and public health officials, Laguna Playhouse has announced a new set of policies for attending a performance at the playhouse.
MAINSTAGE SHOWS
Laguna Playhouse will be offering both “Fully Vaccinated” and “Open-To-All” Performances. Fully Vaccinated performances will take place the first two weeks of all subscription shows and any extension weeks. Please see the performance listing for requirements
SPECIAL PERFORMANCES
All special engagements will also be "Fully Vaccinated" performances.
YOUTH PROGRAMMING
All Youth Theatre shows, including the Annual Holiday Panto, will require masks for all attendees, but will not require proof of vaccination.
“FULLY VACCINATED” is defined by the CDC as being at least 14 days after the receipt of the second dose of a two-dose vaccine (such as the currently available Pfizer-BioNtech and Moderna) or one dose of a single-dose vaccine (like Johnson & Johnson). Patrons who attend a Fully Vaccinated performance will required to present proof of their Covid-19 vaccination. Acceptable proof of vaccination is 1) the physical COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card issued to the patron at the time of vaccination, 2) a photograph of the patron’s COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card, or 3) a digital vaccination record. Proof of negative Covid-19 PCR test within 72 hours or a negative lab-based Antigen Test taken within 12 hours of performance time will be accepted at these performances in lieu of a vaccination card.
All documents will be checked by Laguna Playhouse staff members before patrons will be admitted to the theatre. Please bring a photo ID with you. Laguna Playhouse reserves the right to deny admission to any patron who does not provide the necessary documentation or follow any COVID-related policy.
This policy is subject to change at any time. Prior to your performance, please check back for any updated policy information.
All California residents may request a digital vaccination record at MyVaccineRecord.cdph.ca.gov.
