All audience members, without exception need a ticket to be admitted into the theater. No babies-in-arms are allowed into our performances.

Regardless of age, everyone must have a ticket, sit in a seat and be able to sit quietly through the performance. When applicable, performance age appropriateness and content will be listed on the performance pages of our website.

Most performances do not have specially priced tickets for children. However, we do offer "Mellor tickets" for certain performances which allow audience members 21 and Under the opportunity to receive two tickets for free.  Please check with the box office for more details and participating performances.

Occasionally we may allocate tickets through 3rd party websites. Playhouse tickets are also sometimes available through a Community Collaborator’s website. We cannot guarantee seating locations or seat requests for any tickets arranged through a 3rd party. Additionally, we are unable to exchange tickets purchased outside of the Laguna Playhouse Box Office. Laguna Playhouse is not responsible for any tickets purchased through a 3rd party.

General RUSH tickets are not offered.  For information on Student RUSH, Mellor tickets, other special offers, discount opportunities and group sales, please visit the Special Offer page.

Tickets are held at the box office for pick-up or mailed to you if ordered at least 21 days prior to the performance. We only mail tickets to U.S. addresses.  All out-of-country tickets will be held at Will Call for pick-up.

If you have a promotion code that isn't working, please follow these steps -

  1. Pick your show and date
  2. Type your promo code in the box that says "Promo Code".  Do not include quotations.
  3. Click on "submit"
  4. Your page should reload and you should see your promo code has taken effect.

If you click the "buy tickets" button on the calendar and it's not working please make sure you have selected the day and time (if applicable) of the show you want to see. For shows that only run one night, you still have to click the date to get to the purchase tickets page.

Hopefully this has answered your question. If not, please call the box office at 949.497.2787 and let them know the issue you are having. If you can be as specific as possible, we can have our web support team look into fixing the issue. Thank you in advance for letting us know of any bugs you might encounter. Technology is a wonderful thing, but sometimes it needs a little human involvement to work as well as we all expect it to.

Laguna Playhouse is pleased to be able to offer Open Caption at some performances.

What is Open Captioning?
Open Captioning displays the spoken word, sound effects, and any other audio portion of the production in text form. Captions appear on the captioning display in real-time synchronized to the action on-stage. Our Open Caption screen will be located on stage left, and a block of seats will be reserved specifically to accommodate our open caption patrons.

What shows and dates have Open Captioning available?

Currently, there are no scheduled Open Caption dates. Please check back for added shows.

For more information, and to purchase tickets, please email us at ticket_office@lagunaplayhouse.com.

Will I have to use a device or special equipment?

No equipment is required, just a seat in the Open Captioning viewing area.

Does a ticket for Open Captioning cost extra?

No. Tickets to sit in the Open Captioning section are the same price as all other seats.

Will there still be Assistive Listening Devices available?
