Basic Theatrical MakeUp Applications (Ages 5-12): 1-3 PM
Get ready for some Halloween fun! Students will learn how to use theatrical makeup to create bruises and cuts and other special effects!
This Murder Was Staged-inspired MakeUp Class (Ages 13+): 4-7PM
This Fall’s Youth Theatre production, This Murder Was Staged, is the inspiration for this makeup class! A comedy murder mystery, students in this class will work on projects related to the “murders” in the play.

Elias Wygodny is an actor, ceramicist, musician from Chicago-land. Favorite Credits include: Camelot (Laguna Playhouse / North Coast Rep), Sunday In The Park With George (CCAE Theatricals), Assassins (Studio Theatre Tierra Del Sol), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Theatricum Botanicum), Les Miserables, Shrek (Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre). Education: BFA Musical Theatre (University of Michigan), Movement and Acting (Michael Chekhov Acting Studio), Certified Lucid Body Physical Acting Instructor (Lucid Body Institute), Certified Voice Teacher (The Singing Athlete), Certified 200-Hour E-RYT Yoga Teacher, Master’s Certificate in Mind, Brain, and Teaching (John Hopkins School of Education). Elias currently teaches at the Stella Adler Academy of Acting and Theatre in Los Angeles.
Introduction to Movement for Actors (Ages 5-12): 12:45p-2:45 PM
Explore how actors use movement as a tool for discovering character, warming up the mind, body, and ensemble connection, and for developing a sense of joy and play!

Push-Pull: Exploring High Stakes Relationships and the Nature of Conflict (Ages 13+; 3:15-5:15p)
This class offers an introduction to building trusting high stakes relationships on stage. With an emphasis on self-awareness and compassionate connection to others, students will explore the dynamics of high-stakes relationships, the nature of conflict, and the importance of honesty and trust in the theatre. Class will begin with a movement-based group warm up.
Please wear comfortable clothing you can move in and bring a journal with a pen and a water bottle.
